Nyaralás Fuerteventurán 2. rész/Holiday on Fuerteventura Part 2

A múltkor elmeséltem, hogy Fuerteventura-n, a Kanári Szigeteken nyaraltunk még Novemberben. A bejegyzést ott hagytam abba, hogy bemutattam a szállást, tehát a mai beszámolóm a sziget felfedezéséről fog szólni.

Previously I had a post about Fuerteventura, where we spent our holiday in November. I finished my post where I introduced our accommodation, so today I will show you what we discovered in the island.

Vasárnap érkeztünk meg Fuerteventura-ra. Egy kicsit várni kellett, hogy elfoglalhassuk a szobánkat, addig elmentünk egy étterembe. A recepciós hölgy ajánlotta az Avenida nevű éttermet, ami 2 utcányira volt a hoteltől. 3 óra környékén mentünk az étteremhez, ahol sorban álltak az emberek, hogy végre asztalt kaphassanak. Rendeltünk egy Kanári Szigeteki sört (Tropical) és egy rákos főételt. Nagyon finom volt a rák, elég nagy adag (14 euróba került).

We have arrived to Fuerteventura on Sunday. We had to wait a bit to get our room, so until then we went to a restaurant. The receptionist lady recommended the Avenida restaurant, which was 2 streets away from our hotel. We went around 3 o' clock where people were queuing to finally get a table. We ordered a beer called Tropical and a prawn main dish for 14 euros.

Ezután elfoglaltuk a szállásunkat, amiről a múltkori bejegyzésben már írtam és aztán pedig bementünk a városba, Corralejo-ba körbenézni.

After lunch we finally our room, what I already introduced in this post and then we went to look around in Corralejo.

Az első 3 napban eléggé hideg volt, hiszen a szigeten nagyon fújt a szél, és néha szemerkélt az eső. A szállásunk a sziget északi részén volt található, egy sétány legvégén, a központtól 10 percnyire (gyalog). Így minden reggel elindultunk a part mentén körülnézni a városba. Láthattuk a szomszédos szigeteket Lobos-t és Lanzarote-t, és a csodálatos óceánt.

The first 3 days were really cold, because the weather was windy and sometimes it was drizzling a bit. Our accommodation was on the North of the island at the end of a promenade, 10 minutes far from the city centre (on foot). Every morning we walked on the coastline to look around in the town.
We saw the neighbouring islands, Lobos and Lanzarote, and the beautiful ocean.

Corralejo-ról azt kell tudni, hogy régen egy kis halászfalu volt. Ezért épült a kikötő köré a falu középpontja. Nagyon tetszett, hogy az utcák mellett közvetlenül ott volt az óceán.

What you have to know about Corralejo that it was a fishing village. That is why the city centre was built around the harbour. I really liked that the ocean was next to the streets.

Hétfőn úgy gondoltuk elsétálunk a sivatagos óceánpartra. Mindenfelé mászkáltunk, ezért kb. 5 óra volt az út mire odaértünk, de nagyon megérte.

On Monday we thought we will walk to the desert coastal. We were wandering around, so in total it took us 5 hours to get there, but it was worth it.

Találtunk egy nagyon furcsa hotelt, amit feltétlenül meg kell mutatnom. Sajnálom, hogy be volt zárva, megnéztem volna belülről is.

We found a really weird looking hotel, what I have to show it to you. Unfortunately it was closed, I would have had a look.

Ez a nőies férfi megijeszt. Komolyan mondom belenéztem a szemeibe és tök durva volt.
This womanish man scares me. Really it does, I looked into his eyes and it was really gross.

Arra már nem vállalkoztunk, hogy visszafelé is gyalogoljunk így taxit rendeltünk. Ezután a kimerítő séta után ismét kerestünk egy éttermet. A recepciós hölgy egy Brazil éttermet javasolt, a Boa Vida-t.
Ez egy annyit eszel amennyit akarsz, büfé stílusú étterem, 12.99 euróért. A köreteket hozták ki legelőször aztán a húsokat. 9 féle hús közül lehetett választani, amit ott akkor helyben grilleztek meg, és a pincér a nyársról előttünk szolgált fel. (ezt sajnos nem fényképeztük le)

We did not want to walk back to our hotel again, so we ordered a taxi. After this exhausting trip we went to a restaurant. The receptionist lady recommended a Brasilian restaurant called Boa Vida. This is a buffet style eatery, you have to pay a set price of 12.99 euros. They brought the side dishes first, and then the meat. We could have 9 different types of meat, what they grilled in front of us and the waiter served it from a skewer. (unfortunately we did not take a picture about it)

Ezután elmentünk ebédelni a La Ballena étterembe. El kell mesélnem ezzel kapcsolatban egy történetet. Már a Gran Canaria-s bejegyzésben is említettem, hogy az éttermek előtt volt egy behívó ember, aki mindenképpen meg akart győzni, hogy az adott étterem a legjobb a városban. Itt is szinte minden nagyobb étteremnél volt behívó ember. A La Ballena étterem előtt, volt egy behívó fickó, aki vicces volt, nagyon jó stílusban, nem tolakodva elmesélte a főbb jellegzetességét a két étteremnek- ugyanis a szembelévőért is ő felelt. Minden nap találkoztunk vele, és beszéltünk egy két szót. Talán ennek is köszönhetően, de ebbe az étterembe is elmentünk.

After that we went for a lunch to La Ballena. I have to tell you a story about this. I have already mentioned this in the posts of Gran Canaria, that there is usually a host in front of the restaurants who wants to convience you that that particular restaurant is the best in the city. Here there were hosts in every bigger restaurant. There was a guy in front of La Ballena as well, who was really funny, but he explained the main characteristics of the two restaurant- as he was responsible for the opposite restaurant as well- in a really great, not intrusive way. Every day we met him and we had a nice conversation. Maybe partly due to this, but we went to this restaurant.

A menüje egyszerű, kevés ételből lehet választani (ha kinagyítjátok látjátok az angol menüt), és nagyon olcsó. Előétel előttiként kaptunk egy kis zsömlécskét helyi mojo verde (fokhagyma szósz) és mojo rojo (paprika szósz). Isteni volt.
Ezután kértünk szardíniát, és egy fél grillezett csirkét. Minden ételt faszén fölött grilleznek az étteremben. El kell, hogy mondjam, itt fizettünk a legkevesebbet, de nagyon jól laktunk.

The menu is simple, there are only few items (if you click to the picture you can read the menu), and it is cheap. Before starter we got bread rolls with mojo verde (garlic sauce) and mojo rojo (pepper sauce). It was amazing.
After that we have asked bbq-ed sardine and half chicken. They bbq every dish on charcoal. I have to say, we paid the least amount here, but we were extremely full.
