I have never thought that I will ever write about British soups, but this will be today's topic.

Azt vettem észre, hogy itt Angliában inkább a krémlevesek mennek, nem az otthoni "vizesebb" húsleves félék. A legtöbb leveshez az angolok szoktak enni kenyeret vagy baguettet, megvajazva vagy anélkül, vagy crouton-t (zsemlekocka).
I have realised that here in England soups are more creamy than watery like at home (Hungary). They eat soups with bread or baguette, with butter or without, or crouton.
A következőkben felsorolt levesek nem mindegyikét szeretem és van olyan is amit még nem is kóstoltam, de nagyon népszerűek itt Angliában, úgyhogy megérdemlik, hogy szerepeljenek a bejegyzésben.
Some of the following soups I do not like or I have not even tried but these are really popular in England, so they deserve to be in this post.
Leek and Potatoe
Póréhagymás krumpli leves
Azt gondolom ez a leves semmi izgi (bocsi!), egyszerű elkészíteni, nagyon sok itteni étteremben, munkahelyi- iskolai étkezdékben kapható.
I think this soup is a bit boring (sorry!), easy to make, you can buy them in most restaurants and canteens.
Tomatoe, Basil and Garlic
Bazsalikomos, fokhagymás paradicsom (krém)leves
Ez az egyik kedvenc levesem. Nem édes a paradicsomleves mint otthon, hanem egy kicsi savanyúbb, pont ezért szeretem.
This is one of my favourite soup. This is not sweet tomatoe soup like in Hungary, this is a bit sour that is why I like it.
Broccoli and Stilton
Brokkolis, kékpenészes sajtos (krém)leves
Na, ez a második kedvencem. Először meg sem akartam kóstolni, mert habár szeretem a stilton sajtot, nem gondoltam volna, hogy jó lesz levesként. El kell mondjam, amióta először ettem, imádom. Ezt is mint a paradicsom levest, bárhol, bármikor enném.
This is my second favourite. Firstly I did not even want to taste it, because however I like stilton I could not imagine that it will be good as soup. But then, I have to tell you after the first tasting I fell in love with it. Just as the tomatoe soup I could eat it anywhere anytime.
Butternut squash
Tök (krém)leves
Ez a leves otthon is krémlevesként van elkészítve, de nekem valahogy nem jön be :(
This soup is made creamy in Hungary as well, but I do not like it. :(
Pea and mint
Mentás borsó (krém)leves
Ezt a levest egyszerűen nem merem megkóstolni. Egy ideig oda voltam a mentáért, de már nem annyira, a borsót szeretem, de ezt a kettőt levesként nem tudom elképzelni.
I am afraid to taste this soup. For a long time I loved mint, but not that much anymore, I like peas but I cannot imagine these two as a soup.
Carrot and coriander
Korianderes répa (krém)leves
Nem tudom milyen, nem kóstoltam még, nem tudok róla mit mondani.
I do not how does it taste like as I have never tried it before, so I cannot say anything about it.
Courgette and chilli
Chillis cukkini (krém)leves
Ez ismét egy kedvenc, habár eddig csak egyszer kóstoltam. Véletlen volt a találkozás mert még Buxtonban a Dome-ban készítették ezt a levest és csak úgy belekóstoltam. Örök szerelem, habár tényleg eddig csak egyszer ettem ilyet. Nagyon szeretem a cukkinit és a chilli ad hozzá egy kis dögöt. :) Nagyon finom.
This is another favourite, however I have just tasted it once. We met by an accident because this soup was made back in Buxton in the Dome, where I just tried a bit. Forever love however I have just eaten it once. I love courgette and the chilli gives a bit of wildness to it. :) Really tasty.

Oxtail Soup
Ökörfarok leves
Még sosem kóstoltam, de ha lesz lehetőségem mindenképp kipróbálom.
I have never tasted it but when I will have the opportunity I will give it a try.
Pea and ham
Sonkás borsó (krém)leves
Ez a leves szimpatikusabb mint a Mentás borsó leves. Természetesen az otthoni borsó leves örök kedvenc, de így krémleves formában sonkával még nem próbáltam.
This soup seems more appetising than the pea and mint soup. Of course the Hungarian pea soup is all time favourite, but in a creamy texture with ham I have never tried.
