Brit lakóház típusok/ British housing types

A mai bejegyzésben bemutatom a különböző háztípusokat Angliában.
In today's post I will introduce the different house types in UK.



Ebben a bejegyzésben már írtam a tipikus angol albérletekről, itt is találtok sok hasznos információt.

Terrace house: Azt a háztípust hívják terrace house-nak vagy chain house-nak ahol sok ház szorosan egymás mellett egy egész utcát alkotnak. Nagyon népszerű ez a háztípus, hiszen helytakarékos, nem kell helyet hagyni az épületek között. A házak hasonlóan néznek ki és a háztulajdonosok nem is változtathatnak az épület külsején.
Egy kicsi kert is tartozik hozzájuk, annyira pici, hogy csak maximum kiteregetni lehet vagy biciklit tárolni.
További jellegzetessége, hogy az alsó szinten található az előszoba, nappali és a konyha, a felső szinten a hálószobák és a fürdő.

Those house types are called terrace house or chain house, where some houses are joined together to form a chain. This type is really common, because it saves space as there are no place between the houses. The buildings look identical and the owners cannot modify the look of the building.
There is a small garden at the back and it is that small you can only hang out your clothes or store your bikes there.
You can find the hall, living room and kitchen on the ground floor, and the bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor.

Detached house: Ezek a házak különállóak. A hozzátartozó kert nagysága változó lehet, helyszíntől függően. Ezek a háztípusok a legdrágábbak, hiszen sokkal privátabbak és nagyobb telek tartozik hozzá mint a többi háztípushoz.

These type of houses are separated, not joined to any other building. The size of the garden can vary depending on the location. These buildings are more expensive, because you can have more privacy and bigger land than to the other house types.

Semi detached: Ez a háztípus azért semi, mert csak egy fal közös egy másik épülettel, tehát nem alkotnak egy egész sort. Olyan mint otthon az ikerházak.

This house type is semi, because the house is joined to another building only on one side, they do not form a chain.

Flat: Szintén nagyszámban megtalálhatóak a társasházak Angliában, egy-két emeletestől egészen a 10+ emeletesig.
Block of flats are common in UK, from one-two floor to 10+ floor. 
A bungalow-t és a cottage-t sokszor ugyanolyan háztípusnak gondolják, pedig van különbség a kettő között.
Sometimes people think bungalow and cottage are similar type of houses, but there are differences between the two.

Bungalow: A bungalow egy egyszintes ház, néha van második szintje is, de ott általában csak egy szoba van. Lehet különálló is vagy egy ikerház része. Jóval olcsóbb mint a cottage.

The bungalow is a one storey type of house, and rarely there is a first floor, but you can only find a room there. It could be detached or semi detached as well. It is much cheaper than a cottage.

Cottage: Vastag falak, kicsi ablakok, szerkezeti pillérek, alacsony mennyezet és jellegzetes nádtető- parasztház jellegű, így foglalhatnám össze a Cottage jellegzetességét. Általában van egy második szint a házon belül, de az kisebb mint az alsó szint.

Thick walls, small windows, structural pillars, low ceilings and most distinctly a thatched roof- thats how I can summarise the main characters of a cottage. Usually there is a second floor, but it is smaller than the ground floor.
