London 2013/2

Ez a második része a Londonos bejegyzésnek, amiben bemutatom a Big Ben-t, Trafalgar Teret és a Kínai Negyedet.
This is the second part of our London trip about Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and Chinatown.

A St James Parknál észrevettük, hogy katonák(?) meneteltek lovakkal. Lásd videó alul:
At St James Park we noticed that soldiers (?) were marching with horses. See the video below:

Ezen a térképen láthatjátok merre mentünk Londonban. (Kiindulópont Marble Arch, aztán Hyde Park, Green Park, St James Park, Trafalgar Tér, Kinai Negyed, és végül Marbel Arch):

St James Park után elindultunk a Parlament felé, a Thames-ét szerettük volna megnézni. Nem sikerült, ugyanis hatalmas tömeg volt, ezért inkább elmentünk egy másik utcán a Trafalgar Tér felé.

After St James Park we went towards to the Parliament, we wanted to see the Thames. Unfortunately there was a massive crowd, so we decided to go on another street instead, towards to Trafalgar Square.

Big Ben

Emlékmű a Második Világháborúban elhunyt nők emlékére/ Memorial for the women died in World War II.

Trafalgar Square

Nem tudtuk miért volt hatalmas tömeg a téren, mert általában nem szoktak ennyien lenni. St George napot ünnepeltek, ezért mindenféle programokat szerveztek a Londoniaknak :)

We did not know why there was a massive crowd on the square, usually there are not that many people. It was St.George's day, so there were programmes for Londoniers :)

A Trafalgar Téren van egy oszlop, amin minden évben más szobor/művészeti alkotás van. Ebben az évben sajnos nem sikerült közelről lefényképeznem, de talán ezen a képen alul látható a legjobban. A 2007, 2008, és 2010-es szobrokat ezen a linken láthatjátok.

There is a pillar on Trafalgar Square where there is a different sculpture/art piece every year. In this year I could not take a close shot, but probably you can see it on the picture below. You can see the other sculptures from 2007, 2008 and 2010 here.

Chinatown

Mindenképpen el szerettünk volna menni a Kínai Negyedbe, mert habár én voltam már többször is, sosem kóstoltam semmilyen tradícionális kínai ételt itt :) Szóval itt volt az ideje :)

We definitely wanted to go to Chinatown, however I have been there many times, I have not tasted any proper Chinese food :) So there was the time for it :)

Ha valaki megy a Kínai Negyedbe, keressétek meg ezt a emlékhelyet, mert mellette lehet venni nagyon jó gőzölt, töltött zsömlécskét csirkével vagy pedig disznó husival, és azt hiszem talán volt vega is (ebben nem vagyok biztos). Szintén emellett van egy szuvenír bolt, azt is megéri megnézni. :)

If any of you go to Chinatown, look for this sanctuary, because neyt to it, you can buy very good steamed, filled bun with chicken or pork, and possibly veggie (I am not sure about it). Also next to this, there is a suvenir shop, its also worth to have a look :)

Pub

Nem tudtuk melyik étterembe menjünk, mert rengeteg volt a negyedben. A Golden Pagoda-t választottuk, mert a higiéniai beosztása 4-es volt (5ből) és ők Dim Sum-ot is árulnak, amit mi ki szerettünk volna próbálni. A Dim Sum egy gőzölt tészta, ami megvan töltve hússal és/vagy zöldségekkel. Lefényképeztem az első oldalát a Dim Sum menünek (ha ráklikkelksz a képre nagyobb lesz), rengeteg Dim Sum-ból lehetett választani. Két fajta rákosat, 2 fajta disznó husist és egy marha husist választottunk. Az ár £2.50-4.50 mozog attól függően milyen fajta Dim Sum-ról beszélünk.

We did not know which restaurant to go to, because there were plenty. We chose Golden Pagoda, because the hygiene rate was 4, and they sell Dim Sum, which we wanted to try. Dim Sum is a steamed pasta filled with meat and/or veggies. I took a photo about the first page of the Dim Sum menu (if you click on it, it will be bigger) there were plenty types of Dim Sums. We chose 2 types of prawn ones, 2 pork ones and a beef one. The price varies from £2.50-4.50 depending on the type of Dim Sum.

5 fajta Dim Sum-ot vettünk, ami bőven elég volt kettőnknek, és csak £16.50 fizettünk. Nagyon jól éreztünk magunkat :)
We bought 5 types of Dim Sums, which was more than enough, and only we payed £16.50. It was a great experience. :)

Ezeket a gyönyörű tortákat szintén a Kinai Negyedben találtuk, gyönyörű szépek :)
We found these cakes also in Chinatown, they were beautiful :)
