Carsington Water

Múltkori kirándulásunk alkalmával nem csak a Black Rocks-nál jártunk, hanem elmentünk a Carsington Water-hez is.
During our last trip, we did not only visit the Black Rocks, but we also went to Carsington Water.

A Carsington Water egy hatalmas nagy víztározó, ami a Derwent folyóból leeresztett vízet tárolja télen, majd nyáron visszaeresztik. Ezt az egész víztározót és a körülötte lévő parkot a Severn Trent Water üzemelteti, ami az angliai vízszolgáltató. Nagyszerű kiránduló hely, lehet sétálgatni, biciklizni, horgászni, madarakat lesni, hajózni, kajak- kenuzni, szörfölni. (Forrás)

Carsington water is a huge reservoir, which stores the water from River Derwent in winter, and release it back in summer. The reservoir is operated by Severn Trent Water. The reservoir and the park around it is a beautiful place to do walking, cycling, fishing, birdwatching, sailing, canoeing, and windsurfing. (Source)

Erről a képről a Balaton jut eszembe. (Be kell valljam nagyon hiányzik a balatoni nyár...)
This picture remind me of the beautiful Lake Balaton in Hungary. (I miss it so much..)

Ezekről a hatalmas kövekről, próbáltam valami információt találni, de nem találtam semmit. Kőszigetnek (Stone Island) hívják, és sok kisebb nagyobb kőtorony van elhelyezve kör alakban. Mindegyik kőben van egy lyuk, ami egy egy tájra fókuszál (lásd a 2-3. képet). Nagyon szép volt.

I tried to find some information about these stones, but could not find anyting. It is called Stone Island, and there are smaller and bigger 'standing stones" in a circle. There is a hole cut in each stone, which focuses on a particular landscape. (see 2.-3. picture) It was amazing. 

Egy kis manó ház. Hiába kopogtunk,senki nem nyitott ajtót, biztosan nem voltak otthon. :) (én hiszem, hogy lakik ott valaki.. :))
There was a little elf house. We knocked on the door but nobody opened it, they might have not been at home. :) (I am sure someone lives there... :))
