Londonba utaztunk/Travelling to London
Kedden (Nov.15) mentünk fel Londonba. Először is Chapelben elértük a 7órási vonatot, ami elvitt Stockportig, majd onnan elmentünk Londonig.

Sajnos idén karácsonykor nem tudunk hazamenni. Ez lesz az első karácsony amit csak Norbival töltök, a családom, rokonok, és barátok nélkül. Vegyes érzéseim vannak, ugyanis már nagyon hiányzik mindenki otthon, de Norbival most lesz életünk első közös karácsonya, csak ketten. Már tervezegetjük a menüt (én is fogok főzni :)), díszítjük a lakást, és próbálunk mindent megtenni azért, hogy ez a karácsony nagyon szép legyen. Azért nem tudunk hazamenni, mert Norbi útlevele még mindig nem érkezett meg, a repülőárak nagyon nagyon drágák, busszal pedig 3 napot kellene utazni (ez oda-vissza) + az itteni lakbért akkor is fizetnünk kell ha nem vagyunk itt, és ha két hétre mennénk haza, akkor egy hétig nem is tudnánk dolgozni. Januárban szintén nem tudunk hazamenni, mert félre kell tennünk pénzt a franciaországi utazásra, és a szüleim sem tudnak szabadnapot kívenni. Szóval legelőbbi dátum február... Nagyon rossz érzés az, hogy jól érzem itt magam, mert az iskola és a karrier egyre jobban megy, újabb és újabb lehetőségek nyílnak meg, miközben távol vagyok a szeretteimtől és nem láthatom őket csak évente 2-3szor és csak 2 hétre.
Unfortunately we cannot go home for Christmas in this year. This will be the first Christmas which I will spend without my parents, relatives and friends, but with Norbi. I have mixed feelings because I miss everybody soooo much, but we will have our first xmas together with Norbi. We have started to plan the menu (I will cook as well :)) and decorate the flat, and we will try to do everything to make this xmas very nice. We cannot go home, because Norbi's passport is still not here, the flight tickets are very expensive, and the bus takes 3 days (return) + we have to pay the rent for those days, and if we go home for 2 weeks, we cannot work 1 week. We cannot go home in January as well, because we have to save money for the France Trip and my parents cannot have holiday. So the earliest date is in February... It is a very bad feeling that I enjoy living here, the uni and carieer goes better and better, there are new opportunities, whlist I am far from my loved ones and I cannot see them just 2-3 times a year and for 2 weeks.
Szombaton lesz a Diplomaosztó amin Host leszek, tehát én fogom üdvözölni a vendégeket, és irányítani őket a megfelelő asztalhoz ételért. Este nem dolgozunk, hosszú idő óta ez az első szombat este amit nem munkával töltünk. Vasárnap tanulás tanulással, ugyanis 2 hét van az iskolából és még meg kell írnom két beadandót.
The graduation will be on Saturday, and I will be host, so I will greet the guests and direct them to the buffet tables for lunch. We will not work after that, for a very long time this will be the first Saturday night when we will not work. Sunday we will study all day, because we have 2 weeks from uni, and I have to finish 2 assignments.
Lemondtam a Skibo Kastélyt, de nem vagyok szomorú ugyanis találtunk egy másik hotelt Skóciában. Már jelentkeztünk is nyárra (6hónapra), ugyanis mindketten mehetnénk ide együtt :) Majd bemutatom ezt a hotelt egy külön bejegyzésben.
I refused the job in the Skibo Castle, but I am not sad because we found another hotel in Scotland. We have already applied for summer (6months), and we can go to work together :) I will introduce this hotel in another post.

On Wednesday there was like a Flash Mob LipDub in the uni. It means that they filmed the university in a funny way, miming the lyrics of Fascination from Alphabeat. The basic idea is from this video:

London, jövünk/London, we are coming
Holnap este 19:00kor megy a vonatunk Chapel-ből Stockportba, majd onnan 20:23 tovább megyünk Londonba, ahová 22:30kor érkezünk meg. Felkerestem egyik ismerősömet akivel kis korom óta ismerjük egymást, és így náluk fogunk aludni. Euston vasútállomásról 50perc hozzájuk az út, egy metró átszállással. Másnap egyből megyünk a Nagykövetségre, remélhetőleg probléma nélkül meglesz az útlevél. Utána meglátogatjuk a Tower Bridge-t, és arrafelé fogunk mászkálni. Már voltam szerintem 5ször Londonba, de biztos tartogat még szép dolgokat. Például a Hyde Parkban még sosem voltam, és az úgyis útba esik a Nagykövetségtől. Amúgy esetleg akit érdekel a metrójegy ára: kedden, hogy elmenjünk az ismerősömig 4font fejenként, szerdán pedig egy egész napos jegy 8font/fő az 1-2 zónában.

Útlevél mizéria/Passport problem
Ne haragudjatok amiért nem jelentkeztem, de az elmúlt hét elég mozgalmas volt. Ahogy említettem a Diákhitelesek elvesztették Norbi személyijét. A nagykövetség azt mondta a legkorábbi időpont, hogy megigényelhessük az útlevelet, január közepe... Ez azt jelenti, hogy nem mehetünk haza karácsonykor, Norbi nem tudja folytatni az egyetemet, mert nem tudta "bemutatni" (merthogy elveszítették) a személyit, tehát nem kap diákhitelt, és szociális támogatást sem. Egész héten próbáltuk hívni a Nagykövetséget és a Konzult, de nem vették fel a telefont. Ma végre tudtam beszélni a konzullal, és kaptunk egy időpontot jövőhét szerdára (Nov 16.) 10:40re. Nagyon nagyon örültünk neki, mert így valószinüleg haza tudunk menni karácsonykor :) Meg tudtuk venni a vonat jegyeket 80font/2főre csúcsidőn kívül, szóval keddről szerdára valahol aludnunk kell. (legolcsóbb jegy: kedd este 10re érünk fel, és szerdán este éjfélre érünk haza, Chapelre)Ha valaki segíteni tud esetleg szállást találni, nagyon hálásak lennénk.

The Embassy said that the earliest appointment to apply for a new passport is in the middle of January... It means that we can not go home at Xmas, and Norbi can not continue the university because he did not "provide" (because they have lost it) the ID to the student company, so he can not get loan and bursary. All week we tried to call the Embassy and the consul, but they could not answered our calls. Today finally I could speak with the consul, and she gave us an appointment for next Wednesday (16th Nov) for 10:40am. We were very happy, because probably we can go home for Xmas. We could buy the train tickets for 80pounds for 2person in off-peak, so from Tuesday to Wednesday we have to sleep somewhere. (Tuesday we will be in London for 10 at night, and on Wednesday we will arrive to Chapel at midnight) If anybody can help to find an accommodation to us we will be really grateful for that.

Nyílt Nap/Open Day
Szombaton volt az egyetemen az őszi szemeszter második Nyílt napja. Mint ahogyan a múltkori nyílt napon, ismét Leonardnak segítettem, beszéltem a tapasztalataimról a leendő tanulóknak.
Tony, aki tavaly a pénzügyet tanította nekem, tartott egy prezentációt 4 szakról összefoglalva. Az előadás elején bemutatta az összes Tanszékvezetőt, Engem!!, és a Dékánt. Nagyon jó érzés volt :)
Dél körül van egy ebéd az étteremben, ahol elsősök szolgálnak fel, és dolgoznak a konyhában. Ez az ebéd jó lehetőség arra, hogy többet meséljek a suliról, ilyenkor mindenki ellazul egy kicsit. Ezen a Nyílt napon Norbi Ételkóstolást tartott, a menü: csirkepörkölt nokedlival, és resztelt máj majorannával. Mondanom sem kell, az angolok az elején nem merték megkóstolni (főleg a májat), de amikor látták, hogy egy két embernek ízlik, azután már mindenki bevállalta :)
On Saturday there was the second open day of the autumn semester in the university. As on the previous Open day, I helped to Leonard, I had to speak about my experiences for the prospective students.
Tony who taught finance last year made a presentation about 4 courses. At the beginning he introduced Me and the Dean of the University for all the lecturers. It was such a good feeling.
About noon there was a lunch in the restaurant, where the first year students served and cooked in the kitchen. This lunch gives a good opportunity to speak more about the uni, because everybody is more relaxed. On Saturday Norbi kept a Food Demo, the menu was Hungarian chicken stew with dumplings, and braised pork liver with marjoram. As I thought English people were afraid of tasting at the beginning but when they saw that some people really liked it, then everybody was interested in.

Event Catering Management tantárgyból az a feladatunk, hogy megszervezzük a Diplomaosztó vendéglátási részét, kávé/tea kb. 700főre és ebéd kb. 400főre. Ez könnyűnek hangzik, de nyilván nem lesz az. A mai órán elkészítettük a tervet, hány menedzserre lesz szükségünk, és milyen területekre osztjuk fel az egész rendezvényt. Mivel én nagyon szeretem a Humán Erőforrást (HR-t), ezért jelöltem magamat Hr menedzsernek, és mindenki egyet értett :) Nagyon örülök, mert így megmutathatom az erősségeimet, kiemelhetem magamat a tömegből és végre gyakorolhatom a HR-t. Kaptam egy asszisztenst is, és feladatunk a toborzás, training (képzés), esetleg interjúztatás.

Tegnap a Costa Coffee-ban 2-től 4-ig egyedül voltam. Először "megijedtem", hogy senki nem lesz mellettem, de végig nagyon jól éreztem magam (magabiztos voltam), és semmi probléma nem volt. Az én drága főnököm Rachel nagyon elégedett velem, aminek nagyon örülök. :) Múlt héten csináltunk pár képet miközben dolgozom, most azt láthatjátok:
Yesterday I worked alone in the Costa coffee from 2-4pm. I was a little bit scared at the beginning that when I realized that nobody will help me, but then I felt myself very well (confident) and I did not have any problem. My kind boss Rachel was very satisfied with me, I am very happy for it :) Last week we took some photos while I was working, that is what you can see now:

Lakást itt nagyon nehéz bérelni, mert credit checket csinálnak. Ez azt jelenti, hogy megnézik képes vagy-e fizetni az albit, de amíg nincs munkád, addig nem is tudnak ilyet csinálni (dolgozni meg nyilván csak akkor tudsz, ha van hol laknod). Szóval ez hülyeség, de sajnos ez van. Lehet ügynökségen keresztül lakást/szobát bérelni (GumTree nevű oldalról is lehet bérelni, de azt úgy hallottam nem megbízható), de itt számolni kell egy havi lakbérrel, deposittal (ami egy havi lakbér vagy több) és még egyéb plusz költségek.
Azt írtad minimális nyelvtudásod van, ami sajnos nagyon kevés. :( A címed, neved, születési dátum + minden fontos információt magadról gondolkodás nélkül el kell tudni mondani, és persze megérteni a kérdést. Ha ez megy, akkor ügynökségekhez tanácsolnám, hogy menj el, és ott kaphatsz takarítói állást, vagy gyári melót, ami vagy minimálbéres, vagy egy picit több (6-6.50Font/óra).

Mostanság több a balszerencse mint a jó, de remélem ez változni fog.
1. Még mindig nincs rendes internetünk, amivel már a hócipőm tele van. Eléggé megnehezíti az életünket, mert nagyon sok mindent azon keresztül kellene intézni.
2. Norbi elküldte az eredeti személyigazolványát a Diákhiteles cégnek, aki sikeresen elveszítette. Addig amég nem lesz meg, semmilyen jegyet (repülőjegy, buszjegy) nem tudunk lefoglalni, hogy hazamehessünk karácsonykor haza. A jegy pedig egyre drágább...
3. Norbi egyenruháját visszakellett küldeni a múlt héten, mert nem jó méretet küldtek. A cég még mindig nem küldte az új egyenruhát, mondván még nem kapták meg a régit. A postán nincs, tehát valahol elveszett. Várunk egy két napot, reméljük hamarosan megkapja az új ruhát.
Aki azt gondolja az élet Angliában könnyű, annak el kell mondanom egyáltalán nem az. Nappalis diákok vagyunk, sokat dolgozunk és mindig van valami amivel foglalkozni kell a napi teendőkön kívül.
Egyébként sok jó dolog is történik veünk, például a karrierünket tekintve. Leonard a tanszékvezetőm felkért, hogy segítsek neki megszervezni a franciaországi utat, plussz folyamatosan dolgozunk a Bistroban, Étteremben. A következő héten például a Nyílt napon Norbi fog magyar ételt főzni, én pedig prezentációt tartok a tapasztalataimról, és az itteni munka lehetőségekről.

2. Norbi had to send his Original National Identity Card to the Student Finance, who lost it successfully. Until they do not find it we can not book any ticket (flight ticket or bus ticket) to go home at Xmas. And the tickets are getting more expensive.

3. Last week Norbi had to send back his uniform because he got bigger size. The company did not send the new uniform yet, because they did not get the old one. The box is not at the post office, so we do not know where it is. We will wait couple of days and we hope he can get his uniform as soon as possible.

Who thinks life is easy in England, I have to say it is very hard. We are full time students, work a lot and there are lot of issues which we have to deal with almost every day.

On the otherside there are a lof ot positives things for example in our Career. Leonard my Programme Leader asked me to help to organise the trip to France, and we always work in the Bistro and in the Restaurant as well. Next week there will be an Open Day, where Norbi will cook Hungarian dishes and I will make presentation about my experiences and job opportunities.
Morrisons szupermarket/supermarket
Itt Chapel-ben nagy szerencsénk van, ugyanis a Morrisons szupermarket csak 2 percre van. Jó szupermarketnek tartom, mert sokféle választék van, és normális áron.

Virgin Media internetszolgáltató
Már egy ideje próbálkozom képeket feltölteni a blogra, de ezzel a mostani internettel amink van, ez lehetetlen. Mikor Norbi kijött Angliába előfizetett a Virgin Media-ra, ez foglalkozik az internettel, TV-vel, vonalas telefonnal, és a Virgin Mobile-ra ami a mobillal foglalkozik.
