The English weather is very mild compare to the Hungarian weather.

Amennyiben mégis "rosszra" fordul az időjárás, megáll az élet Angliában. A múltkor leesett 1 cm hó, bezárták az egyetemet, rossz időjárásra hivatkozva, és dugó alakult ki Buxtonban, autók mentek egymásba stb. Egy gyalog 5 perces utat, a busszal 40 perc alatt tettünk meg, ezért vonattal jöttünk haza, ami így 10 perc volt.

I read on the Wikipedia, that the worst weather occured in 2009, when maximum 55cm snow fell, and the average was 30cm. It caused serious problem in bus- and train transport, in the London Underground and all the airports were closed. It resulted 1.2billion pound financial loss because people could not go to work. Heavy rain and melting snow caused flooding in Southern England. As the Devon and Cornwall Business Council stated, people over reacted this weather and it was not necessary to close schools (4500) and other businesses.

Szintén a Wikipedia (angol nyelvű) azt írja, hogy a legalacsonyabb átlag hőmérséklet -10 fok éjjel, és nappal maximum 15fok. A téli hőmérsékletet a tenger befolyásolja, ezért az ország közepében melegebb van mint a tenger mellett. Tehát a leghidegebb területek Wales, Nyugat Anglia, és Skócia.
As the Wikipedia states the lowest average temperature -10 at night and maximum 15 degree at daytime.The winter weather is influenced by the sea, therefore in the middle of the country the weather is warmer than next to the sea. The coldest areas are: Wales, Northern England and Scotland.

Azt ajánlom, ha valaki télen jönne ki Angliába, készüljön fel mindenféle időjárásra. Esős, szeles, havas, latyakos időjárásra éppúgy, mint egy kicsit napos 10-15 fokos időre.
I suggest that if someone wants to come to England in winter time, be prepared for any types of weather: rainy, windy, snowy or sunny with 10-15 degree.
