Manapság egyre többen érdeklődnek munkakereséssel kapcsolatban, ezért a mai téma munkakeresés Angliában.
Nowadays more people ask me about looking for a job, therefore today's topic is about how to look for a job in England.
Mielőtt leírom, hogy hogyan kell munkát keresni Angliában, elmondom mikre kell felkészülni.
Before I tell you how to look for a job in England I will tell you some details.
- Közepes angol tudás kötelező. Ha nem tudsz angolul, akkor maradj még otthon, és kezdj el angolt tanulni. Ebben a bejegyésben írtam pár tippet arra, hogyan tanulj angolul. Intermediate level of English is essential. If you cannot speak English, stay at home, and start learning English. Here is a post about how to learn English.
- Alap tőke. Pénz nélkül sem érdemes eljönni otthonról, hiszen nem tudhatjuk mikor lesz munkánk. (Nekem a második héten sikerült munkát találnom, de hallottam olyanról is aki fél év után sem talált semmit) Money. Do not come without money, because nobody knows when will you get a job. (I got after 2 weeks, but I heard that someone could not find a job after 6 months.)
- Készülj fel arra, hogy itt sem minden jó. Az ügyintézés nagyon lassú, az albérlet iszonyú drága, és van, hogy itt is 10-12 órát kell dolgozni, a bejárás körülményes és drága. Prepare yourself that not everything is good here. Administration is very slow, housing is very expensive and sometimes you have to work 10-12 hours commuting is circumstantial and expensive.
- A magyar diplomát általában nem fogadják el, kivétel ha az otthoni cég irányít ki Angliába vagy esetleg orvos, mérnök képesítéssel rendelkezel. Usually employers do not accept Hungarian degrees, except if your company (from Hungary) send you to England or you have a degree as a doctor or engineer.
- 21 év fölött ₤6.08, 18-21 évig ₤4.98 a minimál órabér. The minimum wage is ₤6.08 aged 21 or over, and ₤4.98 between 18-20.
Pénzügyi tények:
2 hónapra levetítve minimum ₤2000 kell (amiből ₤600 a foglaló, amit egyszer kell kifizetni).
₤400 Havi bérleti díj esetén
₤600 a foglaló (a Havi bérleti díj: 400 + ₤200)
₤100/fő regisztrációs díj az ügynökségnek
₤100/fő regisztrációs díj az ügynökségnek
₤70- ₤100/háztartás/hó a council tax, azaz a kommunális adó
Hetente ₤10- ₤20fontból be lehet vásárolni egy főre.
Egyéb költségek:
Internetet már havi ₤10-tól is lehet kapni. Ajánlott szolgáltató a Sky, de van még Talk to Talk és a Virgin Media (ez utóbbit abszolút nem ajánlom, itt elolvashatod miért)
Mobil: általában csak úgy tudsz internet-, ill. mobil előfizetést venni, ha van az angol bankszámládon minimum egy havi díj (leellenőrzik) + és 3 éve laksz Angliában (ezt kell mondani, ezt nem ellenőrzik le). ₤10-₤35/hó egy előfizetés, emellé kapsz egy telefont. Sim kártyát ₤1-ért tudsz venni.
Financial facts:

Housing:

Hogyan keressünk munkát?
- Először is kell egy önéletrajz, amit elolvashatsz itt
- Készítsd fel magad az adott munkakör jellemző szavaira és egy esetleges interjú kérdéseire. Erről itt láthatsz egy bejegyzést, és itt egy telefonos interjú kérdéseit.
- Az első dolog amit én legelőször megnézek az a JobCentre honlapja: http://jobseekers.direct.gov.uk/homepage.aspx?sessionid=703c0321-ed3d-4e54-8f5a-ab361d1acb8d&pid=1 Megbízható, átlátható, könnyen kezelhető honlap. A keresőbe be lehet írni, hogy milyen munkát keresel, hol, mennyi órában. Én ezen a honlapon találtam meg a Holiday Inn-es állásomat, úgyhogy csak ajánlani tudom. Minden városban van Job Centre, ahova személyesen be lehet menni, és egy érintő képernyős masinán állást keresni. Ha találtál megfelelőt, ki lehet nyomtatni ingyen, és fel is lehet hívni a céget onnan a Job Centreből ingyen.
- Minden városban vannak munkaközvetítő ügynökségek, angolul employment agency, job agency. Ha a Google UK-ra beírod ki fogja adni a találatokat az adott városban. Például itt Buxtonban van a Recruitment Forward és a Connections, Derbyban van az Orbital, Adecco, Right4Staff, Extrapersonnel, Key Personnel Solutions.Frontline Recruitment.
How to start looking for a job?
- You need a CV, you can read about it here
- Learn the relevant words for that specific job role, and prepare for interview questions. Here you can read some questions for telephone interview, and here there some tips for face to face interview.
- The first thing what I always do to look at the Job Centre' website: http://jobseekers.direct.gov.uk/homepage.aspx?sessionid=89cf1808-dc2a-430d-86c8-f2a4b5080367&pid=3 This is a reliable, clear and easy to use website. In the search box you can write what kind of job, where and how many hours are you looking for. I found my previous job in Holiday Inn on this webpage so I really recommend this. There is a Job Centre in every town, where you can go and looking for a job on a touch screen computer. If you find any you can print it out for free, and call the companies for free from Job Centre.
- There are employment agencies in every town. If you go to Google UK and write job agency, or employment agency, and the place (where you are looking for), you will see the results. For example in Buxton there are Connections Agency, and Recruitment Forward, in Derby there are Orbital, Adecco, Right4Staff, Extrapersonnel, Key Personnel Solutions, Frontline Recruitment, Short term Agency etc.
Ügynökségen keresztül:
A legtöbb ügynökségnek van honlapja, ahonnan tájékozódhatunk arról milyen állást kínál. Például gyári mint a Forward Recruitment és az Orbital, vendéglátós munkákat: Right4Staff, takarítós munkákat: Right4Staff, Orbital, sofőr munkák: Extrapersonnel stb. Tudd, hogy milyen állás érdekel, és mondd is, hogy arra szeretnél jelentkezni. Ha azt mondod any job, azaz bármilyen munka érdekel, akkor nagy valószínüséggel nem fognak felhívni. Mindig van regisztrációs lap amit ki kell tölteni, továbbá angol teszt, és interjú, ezekre fel kell készülni. Ezután ha megkapod az állást mindig van egy induction, ahol elmondják mit kell csinálni, majd ezt tréning formájában az első napon is elmondják a munkahelyen.
Through an agency:
Most of the agencies have a website so you can see what kind of jobs they offer. Like factory job: Forward Recruitment and Orbital, hospitality jobs: Right4Staff, Cleaning job: Right4Staff, Orbital, driver job: Extrapersonnel. You have to know what kind of job do you want to apply for and tell this to the assistant in the agency. If you say any job, probably they will not call you back. Firstly you have to fill out a registration paper, an English test and there will be an interview, so always prepare yourself. If you get the job there is an induction section where they tell you what to do, and you will have a training on your first day in work.
