Önkiszolgáló pénztár/Self check out till

Erről a témáról egyszer már írtam, de nem annyira részletesen. Kb. 2003 óta a nagyobb szupermarketek, drogériák (Tesco, Marks&Spencer, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Boots stb) arra törekednek, hogy bevezessék a self check out till-t azaz, az önkiszolgáló pénztárt. Még mindig vannak pénztárosok, de nem akkora számban, és a sor is kisebb ennek a kütyünek köszönhetően.

I mentioned this topic earlier, but now I want to write about it in more details. Since 2003 the bigger supermarkets', drugstores' (Tesco, Marks&Spencer, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Boots etc.) aim is to introduce a self checkout till. There are still some cashier, but not as much as earlier, and the queue is smaller thanks to this machine.

 Nem kell megijedni, nem bonyolult ez a masina. A vonalkód leolvasónál kell leolvasni minden termék vonalkódját, a gyümölcsöt, zöldséget pedig le kell mérni, tehát ki kell keresni az ABC sorrendben lévő listából az adott terméket. Ezután rá kell nyomni a fizetésre, ahol opciónak megjelöl kártyás, készpénzes fizetést, ill. ha van a szupermarketnek pontgyűjtő kártyája azt is ott kell lehúzni. Kapunk egy blokkot a fizetésről, sőt ha készpénzzel fizetünk kiírja mennyi a visszajáró. Mindig van a közelben egy asszisztens, aki segít, tehát tőle nyugodtan lehet kérdezni. Ha mondjuk alkoholt veszünk, akkor a gép "hibát" jelez, tehát jön egy asszisztens aki elkéri a személyit és ha elmúltunk 18 évesek akkor megvehetjük az italt, ha nem, akkor nem lehet megvenni.

Do not be afraid, this is not a complicated machine. You have to place the products' bar code to the bar code reader, and fruits, vegetables have to be measured, therefore you have find it in the list which is in alphabetical order.  When you finish you press PAY, where you can see different options: card payment, cash payment or if the supermarket has a club card you have to swipe it there as well. You will get a receipt, moreover if you paid by cash you will see the amount of change. There is always an assistant around so you can ask anything from her. If you buy an alcohol the machine will say "error" so the assistant will come and ask a proof of your age, so if you are over 18 you can buy the drinks, if you are not, you cannot.

Tavaly már az egyetemi könyvtárban, Derby-ban láttam, hogy ott is ilyen gépekkel lehet kivenni, ill. visszavinni könyveket. Idéntől ezt Buxtonban is bevezetik, mutatok egy kis videót amiben látható, hogy hogyan kell használni:

Last year I saw in the university library in Derby that there are similar machines, where you can issue and return books. From this year we can use these machines in Buxton as well so here is a video about how to use it:

Ugyanúgy ahogyan az élelmiszereket, itt is a könyvek vonalkódját kell leolvasni. Ha végeztünk, ki lehet nyomtatni egy papírt arról, hány darab könyvet kölcsönöztünk ki, leírja a könyv szerzőjét, és címét valamint a lejárat dátumát.

Like the self checkout till, you have to place the bar code of the books to the bar code reader. When you finish you can print a receipt about how many books have you borrowed, it will say the author and the books title and the due date of returning.
