I am still writing some stories about what happened in December, because it was a very busy month. On 17th December I had to work on the Costa cart in the uni, because there was an indian wedding.
Az első szembetűnő nagyon fontos dolog az az volt, hogy a Dome-t kettéválasztották egy paravánnal. Erre azért volt szükség mert a férfiak és nők külön ültek. A férfiak átmehettek a nők oldalára, de a nők nem mehettek át a férfiakhoz. Állítólag (én ezt már nem láthattam) ez egy külön nagy dolog, amikor a vőlegény átmegy a menyasszonyához a túloldalra.
The first conspicuous thing was, that the Dome had to be divided by two with a folding screen. It was important because men sat separately from women. Men could go to women side but women can not go to men side. As I heard it is a special process when the groom go to the bride's side.

A menyasszonynak és a vőlegénynek volt egy-egy kiemelt nagyon dekoratív trónja, ahol csak ők, és közeli családtagjai foglalhattak helyet.
The bride and the groom had a special, well decorated throne where they and their close family could take a seat.

A barátok, rokonok és a család a főbejárattól felkísérte a menyasszonyt erre a trónra, ahol fotózkodtak.
From the main entrance friends, relatives and the family accompanied the bride to the throne where they could take photos.
Kör alakú asztalok voltak megterítve a vendégeknek, különböző módokon. Akik nagyon közeli hozzátartozók voltak azok ezüst étkészletet kaptak, akik nem voltak annyira fontosak, ők műanyag eldobható étkészletet. Férfiak (!) megmelegítették az előre elkészített ételeket a Bistroban, majd tálalták a vendégseregnek. Minden asztal közepére tettek mindenféle ételből. Mi is kaptunk kóstolót az ételekből, amik nagyon finomak és csípősek voltak, de sajnos egyiknek sem tudom a nevét. Az alsó képen látható kolbász, két fajta rizs, csirke talán curry szósszal, tradícionális kenyerük aminek a neve: naan kenyér. Nem szolgáltak fel alkohol italokat, így Fantát, Kólát vagy vizet ittak.
There were round tables for the guests which were set up on different ways. Very close family, relatives got silver cutlery, and others (who were not that important) got disposable plastic cutlery. Men (!) reheated the food in the Bistro and they served the food for everybody. There were different types of food on the middle of each table We got food to taste, which were very tasty and hot but I do not know the name of them. On the below picture you can see what we ate: sausage, two types of rice, chicken legs or wings with curry, and the traditional bread which is called: naan bread. Alcoholic drinks were not served, so they drank Fanta, Coke, Water.
Hallottam, hogy ez az esküvő 5 napos volt. Azt nem tudom, hogy mind az 5 nap mi történik az esküvőn. De azt tudom, hogy ezt a lagzit az egyetemen, a menyasszony rendezte a vőlegénynek. Másnap mentek arra a lagzira, amit a vőlegény rendezett a menyasszonynak. Plusz érdekesség, hogy csak erre az alkalomra mindkét fél nagyon drága autókat bérel, így meglepő volt Bentleyt, Rolls Roycet stb látni az egyetem udvarán.
Just an addition: I heard that this wedding took 5 days. I have no idea what happens on each day but I know that this wedding which was organised by the bride to the groom. Next day they went to the wedding which was organised by the groom to the bride. Moreover both of them hired very expensive cars for the ceremony, so it was a surprise to see Bentley, Rollls Royce in the courtyard of the uni.
